Book Review - Witches

  This story is about a boy (who is never named throughout the whole book) and his encounter with several witches. This boy is from England, but stays with his grandmother in Norway after his parents are killed in a car accident. During his stay with his grandmother, his grandmother tells him stories about real witches. She explains how to distinguish a real witch and explains about the witches' evil deeds.
 The boy meets the horrible real witches his grandmother was always talking about at a luxury hotel. He was hiding in a room trying to train his mice when witches started to pour in to the room to hold their annual meeting. The boy is eventually caught and is made into a mouse. However, the boy runs away before the witches kill him and goes back to his grandmother. He and his grandmother uses the same potion to make all of the witches into mice as well and defeats all of the witches in England.

 I personally enjoy reading books by Roald Dahl. They are extraordinary stories that people would normally not tell children. This book was especially weird and I think it will not be very good for young children. Although the things introduced in the book are fictional, the author illustrates them so well and it seems as though they are real. I think when the children read about the things that happened to the children who got caught by the witches and when the boy turned into a mouse.

The GLPS Project

  Dr. Vierd got out of his warm van into the winter air that was as cold as ice cream. The parking lot was full of cars and people. Some insolent students were making their parents carry all of their luggage. Dr. Vierd had an important meeting to attend so he walked up the hill of KMLA.

  When he arrived at the meeting room, all the other scientists were already there. Dr. Vierd hurried to the front of the room.
  "Hello, fellow scientist! Today is the first day of the 17th GLPS experiment camp. During the years of GLPS, we have found out that children are more productive when they are away with their parents, and that children feel more comfortable when they are forced to speak English. This year, we are trying to find out how the students will behave when they are given a lot of homework but no snacks. I hope that we will be able to get some useful results. Thank you."

  Two weeks later, Dr. Vierd and his scientists were working late at the monitoring room where the scientist could keep an eye on every student. Suddenly, a PA scientist from the dormitory ran in.
  "The students have smuggled in snacks and they're eating snacks like hungry tigers!"
  "Oh, I love it! That's exactly what we needed!" Dr. Vierd shouted sarcastically and stormed out of the room, furiously straight to the dormitory building.
  "I want every single one of my scientists to catch all the students that ate snacks and bring them to me! Now!" he yelled at the scientists.

  However, the smart, sneaky, snack-loving students hid all their snacks from the scientists. The experiment ended up as a failure. Dr. Vierd's love for science and experiment came to an end.

Glee-Lucky

  I'm back to introduce another song from Glee.

  This song is performed by Dianna Agron and Chord Overstreet. This song was originally by Jason Mraz and Colbie Calliat. In the TV show, the glee club "New Directions" was having a duet contest. Chord Overstreet, playing Sam Evans who is a new student and a new member to the glee club, does a duet with Dianna Agron, playing Quinn Fabray (the head cheerleader). They win the competition and go to Breadstix, which is the best restaurant in the neighborhood.

  It's a beautiful song! I love the voice of Dianna Agron. Well, enjoy!

Apologizing to Lieju

Mr. Dean asked for my help (he's trying to apologize to someone named Lieju):

  Dear, Lieju
  I am so sorry that I offended you by teasing you in front of class 21. I shouldn't have teased you because of your height. I am sorry that I mocked you for something you can not control.

  I understand that you were very embarrassed because of my irresponsible action. I understand that you were mocked by class 21 and cried all night. You must be tired from not getting the sleep you needed.

  I will apologize to you in front of class 21 and explain that I shouldn't have teased you the first place. Also, I will acknowledge that teasing someone about their height is like teasing someone about their skin color because it can't be controlled by that person.

  I promise that I will never make fun of anyone's height again. I am very sorry for what I did.

Best Roommate Ever! (2) Casey Son (Kyu-jin Son)

  My roommate Casey Son always makes us laugh. She does random things such as making funny faces, and says random things that always makes me and my roommates laugh. She sometimes quotes her favorite TV show, Hannah Montana, and tells us stories about her class at camp which are always interesting and funny.

  She also makes this loud breathing sound when she is sleeping and it is so adorable! It sometimes keeps me awake for more than an hour because I can't sleep very well if it is noisy around me, but still I find her sound very cute. I think my other roommate Alex would agree with me. :)

Best Roommate Ever! (1) - Alex Kim (Young-heon Kim)

  Alex Kim (Young-hun Kim), my roommate, works very hard on her duties. She always stays up late to prepare for her history presentations and debates. When, she researches for her history presentation, she is very thorough and doesn't miss small details. Alex then practices hard to make her presentation perfect.

  The same applies when she is preparing for debates. She researches for evidence and prepares rebuttals for the opposite side's expected arguments. She was good at debating when she first started, but now she is getting even better! I am having a great time with her! :)

Give Me My Strawberry Candies! - complaints

  When I was walking down the hallway of our dormitory in GLPS(German Language PreSchool) with my friends, I met a man who was selling strawberry candies. My friends told me that the man looked suspicious. Still, I ignored my friends and bought 30 candies for 1000 won because I really wanted to eat a lot of candies. My friends told me to wait until we got permission from our PA (Parenting Amazonian). I ignored them again and ate one candy.

  However, when I popped one into my mouth, I realized that it was not strawberry candies, but raspberry candies. I am allergic to raspberry candies, so my hands started to become puffy and my eyes started to burn. Then, I started to shake and feel dizzy. I had to throw all of the candy away and visit the nurse's office to get some rest.

  I would like the head master of German Language PreSchool to give me 30 strawberry candies.
